An Almost Anonymous Post

High on a balcony far away stands a man with a phone in his hand.

Eons ago he wrote a blog - Then one day he suddenly stopped.

Okay! Not true! Well not exactly! What actually happened was Life.

He met someone who lovingly said - Write about me and you’re dead!

Rather bemused the guy said - What!? She replied that blogging's for children!

Rather than argue though heavy of heart he smiled and muttered You’re probably right.

Eager to please he slowly deleted every word he’d ever written.

Big mistake - Act in haste - Now he’s feeling rather frustrated.

FYI - They’re still together. For mutual convenience we’ll call him Adam.

He’s happy and healthy. He's working hard. And missing you all like crazy!

awwwww, i'm glad you came back to say hi. I miss you! Glad that you and the lady are still together and I guess the jobs treating you well!

But the lady is wrong about blogging, if we are all children then why the hell do I go to work every day? Give me back my playtime!

(or pass a mirror) mayhap (which is a word I nicked from Adam's blogging vocabulary) you could mention that Rosie (which is me just in case your confused about who is who, because I am) says "Hello " and that she fully understands about not wishing to be blogged about, private relationship things are sensitive and some people don't wish to share, which is their prerogative, but tell him he is very missed and welcome anytime.

    My boyfriend of 10 years doesn't get mentioned much if at all in my blogs, maybe you have noticed?
    
    Recently after 6 months on Blog, I went a little bonkers and did show some pics of us in a post just for friends but that has been it really.
    
    My tiny mind spills over with so much, thoughts, ideas, art, irrelevance, pictures and photographs so that I don't blog about our relationship together which is our business alone.
    
    I don't feel it would be fair to share our relationship with the world, when it would only be from my perspective.
    Also some occasional blogs would start with 'My boyfriend is a git!!! Grrr!' LOL!
    
    My house is being damp proofed, plaster dust everywhere, no heating, no hot water, I would move out for a while but Eric my elderly cat needs me here to offer my warm lap and reassurance about the builders and drilling and knocking.
    
    Lovely to see you back Adam I hope you can find a way to blog.

How do, pleased to see you and slightly alarmed too. I can still blog without mentioning family etc, I have myke's permission to use his real name so I mention him from time to time. But my family are no no's. I don't mention them, because they haven't given me permission, except one special occasion from Mum where it was just too funny not to!

It should be a case of love me love my hobby... Or not at all. After all, you were a blogger before you were together and it will have shaped your character somewhat.

    It's a tough challange to balance blogging with a relationship where the other person doesn't understand it. Maybe you should take her on an insiders tour, show her why you enjoy it. She may understand it better. Can't hurt. If she isn't willing to even take a look at it, I'd seriously question whether things would work with you, you should appreciate the other persons interest, even if you don't share it!
